Through these conversations, we try to understand what our Customer think about us. Today, we travel to the city of Puebla in Mexico to talk with Omar Iván Marín Vera, director general of Hemocentro de Puebla.
The Hemocentro de Puebla was established in September 2022 as an alternative to promote and encourage blood services in the state of Puebla, Mexico, in order to promote the regularization of hospital transfusion services and unify them in the same criteria in which the procedures manual provided by the blood bank defines the guidelines for good performance in transfusion medicine practices.

1. Could you explain what your activities consist of?

At El Hmocentro de Puebla, we are dedicated to the collection of blood from donors, either by family donation or altruistic donation. Along with this activity, we distribute blood tissue from the blood bank to the different hospital transfusion services where it is required.

2. Why is there a need for cold storage in your organization?

To guarantee the cold chain that keeps the blood tissue in optimal conditions for its application, it is necessary to use high-performance devices such as B Medical Systems blood transport boxes.

3. Which products did you buy from B Medical Systems?

I have a B Medical Systems MT4 blood transport box and it is used for transferring blood units to hospital transfusion services.

4. What are the features that you liked the most? Could you please talk about the performance of the devices?
