To support the relief effort in Turkey and Syria, B Medical Systems has donated 50 medical transport boxes in collaboration with the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MAEE), to provide the necessary cold chain environment for immediate medical support. Luxembourg: 01/03/2023: Following the series of massive earthquakes and aftershocks which struck south-eastern Turkey near its border with Syria, the region has faced a major and urgent humanitarian crisis. The earthquakes caused significant destruction, claimed thousands of lives, and left many more homeless and injured. The crisis has drawn relief and aid from around the world. In support of this relief effort, B Medical Systems has joined hands with the Directorate of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MAEE) to ensure that the affected areas are immediately able to receive the required medical and biological supplies using the medical transport boxes equipped to carry blood, vaccines, and medicines at the required temperatures.

B Medical Systems donated 50 medical transport boxes that will reach the Hospital at Adana, Turkey, and will be used to provide necessary blood and medical specimens to the people in the areas affected by the earthquakes. The vaccine transport boxes, all manufactured in Luxembourg, provide a cold life of up to 6 days ensuring medical supplies are viable and can reach the people in need under these difficult circumstances.
